Brian Korngold is Of Counsel at Feuerstein Kulick LLP and his practice focuses on corporate and regulatory. Brian’s practice focuses on regulatory affairs and compliance matters in the cannabis industry, corporate governance, securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, debt financings, intellectual property licensing, and related corporate transactions. Brian also assists prospective cannabis license holders and operators through the complex application, licensing, and permitting process both at a state and local level. In his current role, Brian represents, and serves as outside general counsel to, various single and multi-state cannabis operators and license holders, start-ups, leading technology companies and ancillary companies, private equity funds, venture funds, family offices, and private investors.
Brian has extensive knowledge on the various state and local rules and regulations that are required to operate a compliant cannabis company. As a result, Brian can efficiently and effectively advise clients on all aspects of the cannabis industry and help them navigate the complex business and regulatory environment. Additionally, Brian advises stakeholders and lawmakers regarding the adoption and implementation of legalized medical and adult-use cannabis programs.
