On behalf of our cannabis clients, we have:

  • Prevailed at trial on behalf of a shareholder asserting fraud and fiduciary duty claims in connection with the sale of her interests in a cannabis company, resulting in a $24.5 million judgment in our client’s favor.
  • Prevailed in arbitration on behalf of an investor asserting fraud and securities fraud claims involving a failed cannabis company, and confirmed the award in court including 100% of damages and punitive damages.
  • Prevailed in arbitration against a Nevada cannabis company on behalf of a minority partner in breach of contract claims.
  • Successfully represented a prominent real estate developer in dismissing claims brought by a party seeking a $9 million “finder’s fee.”
  • Successfully represented a Pennsylvania cannabis company in dismissing claims brought by a party seeking a $5 million “finder’s fee.”
  • Successfully represented a property owner in asserting claims against a cannabis tenant who leased and agreed to acquire the property, seeking more than $9 million in losses.
  • Successfully represented a major multi-state cannabis operator in emergency proceedings involving requests for preliminary injunctions and receivership involving.
  • Representing a cannabis client challenging New York State’s award of RO licenses in 2014.
  • Representing a real estate developer in prosecuting claims against former partners for breaches of contract and fiduciary duty.
