Stephen D. Millas is a Real Estate Of Counsel to Feuerstein Kulick.
Steve brings a wealth of practical experience and knowledge to his practice and clients as the result of his 34-year private practice and in-house legal career, in which he has negotiated and closed a broad spectrum of real estate matters. Steve has represented landlords, tenants and subtenants regarding their leasing endeavors, including industrial, retail, office and other commercial leasing transactions. In addition, Steve has represented buyers and sellers of commercial real estate, including industrial property, shopping centers, office buildings, apartment complexes and other commercial properties. Finally, Steve has represented institutional lenders in connection with the origination of traditional secured real estate debt financings, including CMBS and balance sheet loans, construction loans in New York and senior and subordinated financings of all types of properties.
Prior to joining Feuerstein Kulick, Steve was an associate at several Am Law 100 firms, including Willkie, Farr and Gallagher and Orrick Herrington, and was later Counsel at Reed Smith and Alston Bird. He also served as Chief Counsel of Commercial Real Estate for CIT and was later promoted to Senior Vice President in charge of corporate real estate for CIT .
