Todd Cohen joined Feuerstein Kulick to support the firm’s growing transactional practice serving the needs of the developing legal cannabis industry.
Todd is a highly experienced and results-oriented transactional attorney with an extensive record of accomplishment in advising senior management and company boards, leading domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, improving corporate governance, and working with regulators.
Todd has extensive knowledge and expertise in the insurance and financial services industry, having served in several senior roles at American International Group, Inc. (AIG) over a 17 year period. Most recently, Todd was AIG’s Regional General Counsel for the Canada, Bermuda, Latin America and Caribbean businesses, where he oversaw 40 lawyers in 17 countries in all legal matters relating to those local operations. In this and in prior roles at AIG, Todd developed a reputation for creative and practical thinking within a highly regulated industry, leading to sustainable pro-business legal solutions. In these roles, Todd also gained experience working in developing markets and in environments with challenging and rapidly changing legal environments, which is a skill directly relevant to the legal cannabis market.
Todd began his legal career as a corporate associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP’s New York office.
